Eigenschaften
As soon as a category and an entity are selected, a list with all properties of the entity appears under Properties. The ID field of the entity is always displayed first and is marked with a key. All mandatory fields of the entity are then displayed and marked with an asterisk. All other fields are displayed at the end of the list.
Category properties can be assigned to the respective entity properties in the Source column. All extended properties of the category and some of the general properties can be selected here. Properties must be assigned to the ID field and the mandatory fields before the assignment can be saved.
Events
In the events, you can set how to react to the various DMS events
After creating a document or file
If this event is activated, a new entity is created each time a new record is created or a document is imported into the specified category. You can also specify how this should be handled if an entity with the key already exists in d.velop business objects. By default, this causes an error and no further action is taken. Alternatively, you can specify here that the corresponding data set should be updated instead.
After updating properties
If this event is activated, the entity is updated every time a record or document of the specified category is updated. You can also specify what to do if the entity with the key does not yet exist in d.velop business objects. By default, this causes an error and no further action is taken. Alternatively, you can specify here that the corresponding data record should be created instead.
After deleting a document or a record
If this event is activated, the assigned entity is automatically deleted in d.velop business objects as soon as the last version of the file or document has been deleted. As long as at least one version still exists in d.velop documents, the business objects entity will not be deleted.
